Judge Wallace graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration (cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa), and then earned his law degree, with honors, from Seattle University School of Law. After earning his law degree, Judge Wallace joined a private law firm in Grant County, where he served as the managing partner for over 15 years. Judge Wallace also served a family law mediator and as a pro tem judicial officer in Grant County Superior Court for over ten years prior to taking the District Court bench.
Judge Wallace has been active in the community with the Grant County Special Olympics, coaching youth sports teams, and serving as a speaker at local schools as part of Washington State University’s “Gear Up” program. In 2014, the Washington State Bar Association awarded Judge Wallace its “Local Hero Award” for his community service contributions in Grant County.
