The deadline for 2st half 2020 property taxes is October 31th 2020. (November 2nd, 2020 Post Office Postmark except.)


A 5 (five) year tax history is available for parcels online. Access to Taxsifter is available by clicking on Parcel Information on this page. Search by last name or by entering the parcel number-, (without any dashes).


Media Release from the Treasurer's Office June 6th, 2020

Based on the most recent information regarding the outbreak of COVID-19 received from the Grant County Health Department, and what we believe is in the best interest of our employees and the general public, the Grant County Treasurerís Office has made the decision to close their office to the general public effective 5:00 pm on Friday, March 20th, 2020.  The office will remain closed to the public until further notice. 


We are encouraging the public to make personal, mobile home and real property tax payments by mail, or by dropping their payments off at the Grant County Courthouse drive up drop box located in the small parking lot to the north of the main courthouse building. 



  • Mail:  Grant County Treasurer, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA  98823


    • Please include your payment stub if possible

    • Please include your contact information and all parcels included in your payment

    • Please notify us of any change in your mailing address

  • Online:

    • Subject to $1 for e-check, $3.95 for debit card, and 2.5% for all major credit cards

    • Under the Treasurer tab, click on the Purple ďPay Tax BillsĒ button found on the bottom of the screen.

  • Dropbox:  Inside the adjacent north parking lot of the main Grant County Courthouse


    • Please include your payment stub if possible

    • Please include your contact information and all parcels included in your payment

    • Please notify us of any change in your mailing address

  • Cash Payments:  At this time, we are not accepting cash payments, other options are:

    • Cashierís Check

    • Money Order



  • If at all possible, please scan and email all documents pertaining to your property transfer for review.  Email to:  [email protected] and [email protected].

  • Once approved, we will contact you with exact payment amounts for processing your REETA with the Treasurerís Office, as well as recording fees for the Auditorís Office. 

  • Please mail or drop off your original documents and payment in the drop box located inside the north parking lot of the main Grant County Courthouse.


If you have business that you believe cannot be conducted via mail or drop box, please feel free to call our office at 509-754-2011 ext. 4299, and we will do our best to create a solution to address your needs. 


At this time, we do not know when we will be able to open the offices to the public again, but we will monitor the situation on a daily basis and will re-open the office when we believe it is safe to do so.  Thank you for helping us slow the spread of this deadly virus by helping us exercise social distancing.  Stay safe!

The county treasurer is the custodian of the county's money and the administrator of the county's financial transactions.


In addition to services for the county, the county treasurer provides financial services to special purpose districts and other units of local government, including the responsibility to receipt, disburse, invest and account for the funds of each of these entities. The treasurer receives and disburses funds, invests funds held and maintains financial records in accordance with accepted accounting principles. The county treasurer is also responsible for collection of various taxes, including legal proceedings to collect past due amounts. The county treasurer has other miscellaneous duties such as conducting bond sales and sales of surplus county property.

The Office of the Treasurer is located at the North end of the second floor of the Annex in Room 204.



The Treasurerís Office consists of seven full time employees who are trained and willing to offer assistance to the public in any of the services we provide.
