PAX Tools is a collection of trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral strategies for families and communities to promote the development of self-regulation of children in their lives. Caregivers who participate in these workshops receive materials they need to effectively use PAX Tools with Youth.
Free community program where parents/guardians and their youth (ages 10 to 14) participate in (7) weekly classes. Participants learn together about topics like refusal skills, communication, showing love while setting limits, and listening.
QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) Gatekeeper Training for Suicide Prevention is a 1-2 hour educational program designed to teach lay and professional "gatekeepers" the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond. Gatekeepers can include anyone who is strategically positioned to recognize and refer someone at risk of suicide (e.g., parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches, caseworkers, and police officers).
