Fingerprinting

The Grant County Sheriff's Office provides fingerprinting services for residents of Grant County. Fingerprint services are by appointment only, schedule an appointment online.

Items to Bring

You will need to show proof of identification in the form of photo identification. Accepted photo identification is:

  • A current passport
  • A current Washington State driver's license
  • A current Washington State identification card
  • Equivalent out of state identification
  • Law enforcement identification
  • Military identification card

Fingerprint Cards

The only acceptable paper type for fingerprint cards is the 8 inch by 8 inch cardstock. Regular printer paper is not acceptable. Our system and State Patrol's scanner system will not accept standard printer paper, only the cardstock form.  The Sheriff's Office will provide fingerprint cards if they are not provided for you. 

Fees

For credit card transactions, a nominal credit card transaction fee and an online convenience fee will be charged for each transaction. These charges are non-refundable and will be visible prior to transaction completion. Credit card transaction services are provided by a third party vendor and the Sheriff's Office only collects the fees in accordance with the Washington State statute.
