Passport Application Instructions
Passport instructions, information, current fees and applications are available to download at the State Travel website.
Obtaining a Passport in Grant County
Passports application processing is performed at the Clerk's office. Hours to apply and process a passport at the Clerk's office are Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 11:30 am then 1 pm to 4 pm.
Items to Bring
- 2 Checks or Money Orders
- Completed Passport Application, in black ink only
- Do not sign until you are instructed to do so at the Clerk's office
- Evidence of U.S. Citizenship
- Certified birth certificate, naturalization certificate, certificate of citizenship
- Identification
- Passport Photo
- Your Child
- If you are applying for your child's passport, the child (15 years or younger) must also be present with both parents; children aged 16 to 17 may apply without a parent present if the child is paying with a parent's check
Payment
There is a $35 processing fee for obtaining a passport. Check, cash or credit/debit card (MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) are accepted, please make checks payable to Grant County Clerk

- Expedite Fee: $60
