Recycling Opportunities

Tire Collection Events

Grant County does not plan to offer tire amnesty events in 2024 because the Washington State Department of Ecology does not have funds to pay for the tire disposal.

Accepted Materials-Ephrata Landfill

Materials accepted must be residential only. Materials that can be recycled at no charge at the landfill include:

Recycling Locations

Grant County Solid Waste provides recycling opportunities at the Grant County Landfill.

Scrap metal and appliances may be recycled at all solid waste sites for a fee. Refrigerators do not need to be decommissioned before arriving at a solid waste site.

Other Recycling Opportunities

Many other recycling opportunities exist in Grant County. These opportunities are available at city recycling centers, transfer stations, private recycling centers, and stores. The City of Moses Lake and the City of Quincy offer curbside recycling programs.  Learn how to Recycle Right on Ecology's Recycle Right Website!

E-Cycle Washington

E-Cycle Washington is a free program that makes it easy for Washington residents to recycle certain broken, obsolete, or worn-out electronics.  Electronic products contain valuable materials that can be recycled and toxic chemicals that should be kept out of the landfill.  Learn how to Recycle Electronics!
