
Beau Lamens is the Chief Deputy of Field Operations and has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement.
Chief Lamens is a 1999 Ephrata High School graduate and earned his associate degree in fire science from Columbia Basin College. He joined the Othello Police Department in 2002 and served as a Patrol Officer, FTO, and was a member of the tactical response team. He transferred to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office in 2005. He has served as a Patrol Deputy, Field Training Officer, Hostage Negotiator, Narcotics Detection K9 Handler, Corporal, and Sergeant.
As Chief Deputy of Field Operations, Chief Lamens will oversee the Patrol Division, K9 units, and the Honor Guard.
