Grant County Development Services Online Permit Center

Welcome to the Development Services online permitting resource page.

The steps below describe how to successfully submit your permit.

Prepare:

Step 1:  Locate and fill out the correct Application Form or Application Packet for your project.  (Currently only Site Address and Single Family Residences are available for online submittal.)

Step 2:  Review the Application or Packet to identify and gather all necessary submittal items in the required PDF form. See Plans and Documents Standards.

Apply:

Step 3:  Create an account; click “Sign Up” and follow the directions.

Step 4:  Log in to the Online Permit Center and click “Go” in the Applications box.  Follow the directions to Log In and create an application.

Your permit application number will be auto generated after inputting some general information.  Be sure to scroll down to the submittals sections to upload your completed Application form and all required submittal items.

Step 5:  Some applications require a deposit or full fee payment at this time.  If your application shows a “Due Now” amount, submit payment now.

Step 6:  Your application submittal packet is now ready for Development Services staff to do a “Counter Complete / Technically Complete Review” over the next business day to ensure all required information and submittals have been uploaded.

If deemed complete, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the application acceptance and Development Services will begin processing your application.

If deemed incomplete, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the additional or corrected information required; resubmittals must be uploaded by the morning of the second day after the correction email is sent. (Example:  Email with deficiencies sent 1 pm Wednesday, all corrected/additional documents must be uploaded by 9 am Friday.)

If we do not receive the necessary items, the application will be deemed incomplete and will be voided.  You will need to start the online submittal process over when you have gathered the required information or documents.

Step 7:  Development Services staff will process your application and notify you of any questions or issues that arise.  You will be notified when complete, or when the balance of fees are due to allow issuance.  You can also check on the progress of approvals by logging in to your account.
